Winter Park in northern Colorado was slammed with its first major snowstorm this season. The snow has been coming down at a rate of two inches each hour, and it’s anticipated that the Winter Park area can expect at least a foot of fresh powder before the storm lets up.
This early snow is certainly a sign of the great ski season to come. Winter Park Resort opens its lifts on November 17 — just three and half short weeks away. Special rates on lift tickets and lodging packages go into effect November 3rd so be sure to contact a destination expert for details.
