Good Eats in Frisco, CO

In the 11 years that I have lived in Colorado I have not been able to spend a lot of time in Frisco. It seems I am always driving by it on my way to Denver, Breckenridge or the outlet stores in Silverthorne. I had the pleasure of spending an evening in downtown Frisco. I stayed at The Point which is a townhome only a short distance to downtown Frisco. It offers great amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, single car garage and a private hot tub.

There is a large variety of restaurants on Main St. in Frisco, but one caught my eye more than others. It seemed to be a popular location that the locals went to plus they had Monday Night Football on. The Boatyard in Frisco is perfect families, a night out with friends, or a romantic evening with your special someone. The Boatyard has a large separate bar area with multiple TV’s that play the best in sports. The dining area has more secluded areas for couples and larger areas for families.

Lets get to the food. WOW! The food. I recommend the Sesame Seared Ahi for an appetizer. It was some of the best Ahi I have had, and I grew up on the west coast. I
followed that with the NY Strip with Provencal Butter, fresh veggies and the potato of the day. The Steak was cooked perfectly. I wish I had room for dessert, because the options
looked amazing. They are also known for their specialty pizzas.

So if you are staying in Breckenridge, Keystone or Dillon, be sure you make it over
to the Boatyard in Downtown Frisco. Do not miss out!!
