The Perfect Home-A-Way from Home in Park City

Ski vacations are perfect for family reunions – there is something for everyone. There are endless amounts of outdoor fun to be had: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing, sleigh ride, you name it. If skiing is not your thing, mountain towns are perfect for spa days, shopping and eating out. Taking advantage of the snowy weather is fun for all.

With all these amenities in town and on the mountain what better way to reunite your family than with the comfort of a home? We found this true on back in August when we went to Park City for a family reunion. It wasn’t a ski vacation, but endless amount of outdoors activities much like the winter kept us busy. While a majority of our group stayed at Red Pine located at Canyons Resort we opted to stay in a 4 bedroom home in Bear Hollow. This development, once home to Olympic athletes in 2002, is great for families. Our unit had two living areas and bedrooms upstairs giving us ample amounts of space.

Everything in the Bear Hollow home was great. The beds were so comfy and there was a wonderful deck off the master bedroom. The unit also had a private hot tube perfect for any time of day especially at night to decompress from the day’s events. Besides the many decks, the windows were large and gave a great view onto the Aspen tress that surrounded the unit. You can also enjoy the outdoors at the Bear Hollow pool which has a club house with a gym and business center.

So next time you think family reunion do not cringe at the prospect of living on top of one another in a hotel. Vacation homes like the one we stayed in at Bear Hollow give you space and that added comfort of a home that can bring your family together for game night, movie night or a casual dinner.
