Hassel Free/Bag Free Ski Trip to Whistler

My trip to Whistler was the first time I can remember where I haven’t been through an airport lugging around suitcases, backpacks and most importantly, my gear. For me, the trial of dragging a huge, overweight snowboard bag is a notorious hassle (not to mention the danger I impose on anyone within a 5 ft radius of me while I carry the thing around). On our week trip to Whistler however, I got to leave my gear at home and try out some of the best brands in skiing and snowboarding. It was a nice change.

Pre-booking your rentals at Whistler means when you arrive at your hotel, there is a voucher waiting for you upon check-in. You can bring this voucher to any 10 of the convenient rental locations, get your equipment fitted, and be out the door and on the slopes in no time. I should also mention you can return them to any location at either base, or even switch them throughout the day to match your skiing style and the conditions.

The convenience continued after a full day of skiing, as hotels like Coast Blackcomb Suites, Four Seasons and Westin all offer Ski valet, my only real worry was deciding where to go for après.
