Over Memorial Day weekend we went to Jackson Hole, WY where we enjoyed our time away by being outdoors in the beautiful Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We drove up late Friday night and went to Bubba’s Bar-B-Que Restaurant located on Flat Creek Drive in Jackson Hole. We love going there for their amazing beef brisket and fries. Most of the restaurants closed at 10 PM and the weather was getting cold, so we didn’t get to see any more of Jackson that night.
We checked into the Snake River Lodge and Spa in Teton Village, which was right at the base of the mountain. Our place was beautifully decorated in a sophisticated western style with antler chandeliers, large fireplaces, beautifully carved wooden furniture and beams, western sculptures and comfortable chairs.
The unit we stayed in had two bedrooms and more than enough space for the four of us. Each bedroom had a king sized bed with a luxurious bathroom, walk-in closet and a TV in one of the rooms. The living room was the perfect place to relax and socialize with a grand fireplace, as well as another TV above the fireplace. We had a large dining room table adjacent to the kitchen which had granite countertops, new appliances, and gorgeous wood carvings above the stove. As much as we loved spending time outdoors in Jackson, the indoors proved to be pretty amazing as well.
