So yes, it is summer, and you can no longer slash powder turns and tear up the mountain on your skis or snowboard. However, the mountains are still the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and experience exciting, fun, and memorable adventures. If you are looking to do something that will really get your adrenaline going, or if you just want to try something new, we have created a list of some of our favorite activities to do in the mountains and our favorite places to go to do them.
White Water Rafting
With varying degrees of difficulty, White Water Rafting is exciting, thrilling, and definitely an adventure you won’t forget any time soon.

Ziplines seem to be all the rage at mountain towns these days, and we can see why: They are incredibly fun! The ziplines range in length, height, and speed, but are all an unforgettable experience.

If you want to try an activity that is as challenging as it is rewarding, rock climbing is exciting, strenuous, and very fun.

There really isn’t any better way to explore the wilderness and truly enjoy the scenery than by hiking.

Mountain bike parks are popping up left and right and are becoming well-known for being fun, challenging, and a great way to see the outdoors. Park or trail, whichever you prefer, biking through the mountains is always a great adventure.

If you are up for something challenging, but less strenuous, fly-fishing is a great way to enjoy the outdoors.
