It is crazy that summertime is winding down. Many schools have already started the weather is slowly dropping. Do you have any fun plans between now and the ski season? Here are many fun activities during the Fall in Park City, UT.
1) Olympic Park
There are so many great activities at the Olympic Park which displays items from 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics and teaches you about the Olympic sports. You can go Bobsledding down the actual track the Olympian Bobsledders went down, and there are ziplines to race down the mountain, and the Alpine Slide. So much to do and see at this park. If you haven’t been, add this to your Park City Bucket list.
2) Take a chairlift up to Mountain Bike

Many ski lifts are taking people up the mountain for hiking or biking. You can take up your mountain bike and go down some of the awesome trails with amazing views. Definitely recommend this. The Canyons, Snowbird, Deer Valley, Solitude, Sundance, and Snowbasin are all places you can take a gondola for a fun ride. If you want there are cycle rides like the Summit Challenge on August 25, 2012 which supports the National Ability Center or the Tour des Suds on September 16, 2012.
3) Go to Park Silly Sunday
Park Silly Market is a fun place for family and friends to go to. It is every Sunday through September 23, 2012 and is filled with live music, activities and games for kids, famers market with amazing produce and foods, artists and more. This is an activity you don’t want to miss.
4) Park City Showcase of Homes
I am such a fan of home showcases in Park City, UT which is definitely filled with gorgeous homes and interiors for you to visit. This year there is eleven homes on display with stunning rooms, breathtaking backyards and views of the mountains, and exquisite décor and furniture. You can see these homes August 18-19, 25-26 and September 1-3, 2012 from 10am to 6pm.
5) Park City Film Series
Check out all of the fun screenings that Park City Film Series is doing this summer, they have so many options and have something to watch every week.
6) Participate in a Park City Run
There are so many runs you can be a part of in Park City. From 5K runs like the Funky 5K on Labor Day, to longer distances like the Mid-Mountain Marathon (September 8, 2012) and Women of Steel Running Relay (September 29, 2012), you can definitely find these and many other amazing runs.
7) Park City Library Storytimes
Storytime is a perfect place to bring your little ones to read stories and be with other kids their age. Park City Library has many storytimes and other programs from Baby and Me (Monday at 3:30pm and Wednesday at 10am), Toddler Time (Thursdays at 11am), Preschool Storytime (10am), Combined Storytime (Wednesdays at 11am), and many more.
