I really enjoy a good glass of wine and Aspen has the wine events, wine classes and wine tastings to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. I love sommeliers; they are some of my favorite people! I’ve had some fantastic pairings – such a treat! While in Aspen this fall, we stayed at the The Durant Condos #2-D - awesome rental property equipped with a wine refrigerator and beautiful dishes fancy enough for Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner!
Call me old-fashioned but I thoroughly enjoyed curling up by the wood burning fireplace, with a great cabernet, the crackle and smell of the wood burning setting the ambiance (so many places have converted to gas). I’m going to try and catch the Aspen Food & Wine Classic next summer! Come join me!
